Hosting We Hold These Truths
We invite you to host We Hold These Truths in your community in 2026!
Hosts can include cities, schools, businesses, nonprofits, houses of worship, and community groups. Hosts can choose a play featuring a recent immigrant, someone whose ancestors immigrated long ago, a descendent of enslaved people, or a Native American story. You select the venue and food and invite the guests, and we bring the lead facilitator, table facilitators, conversation guides, actor, and support staff. It doesn't have to be dinner: breakfast, lunch, or even coffee is great, too. Connect and be inspired to build a better world.

Role of the Host
Host Duties
- Hosts open their homes, businesses, community centers, and restaurants to 25 or more guests.
- The host coordinates a meal for all guests. Meals can be catered, cooked by the host, or potluck where guests sign up to bring a dish to share.
- Hosts call all guests before their event. For our larger venue partners, we can support those outreach phone calls.
- Each meal will have a trained facilitator.
- We will provide you with all the materials and supplies and information you need to host an evening of dialogue.
