Thriving Together Atlanta Mural Unveiling

Join us for the unveiling of the newest Thriving Together Atlanta mural!

Ralph David Abernathy Underpass at the Atlanta Beltline Westside Trail in Westview

Located at the Ralph David Abernathy Underpass at the Atlanta Beltline Westside Trail, this mural will support Thriving Together Atlanta’s goal to engage in meaningful dialogue, spark critical reflection, and inspire concrete community action that addresses health disparities.

Chloe Alexander, a printmaker from Atlanta, was selected by members of the Westside community during a community input session in August. During this session, community members heard from the project partners, watched a play about racial health equity produced by Out of Hand Theater, reviewed presentations from the five artist finalists, and cast their votes for their preferred artist and ideas.

On October 4, 2025, Alexander’s final mural, which she describes as “a work that honors the contributions of past, present, and future community members,” will be formally unveiled at a celebration uniting community members and partners.
